Maia Ștefana Oprea is a graduate of UNarte Bucharest, holding scholarships in France and the USA. Since 2016, she has been represented by Galeria AnnArt in Bucharest and since 2019 has moved with her family in the village of Inotești, Prahova County. Exhibited at the International Painting Biennale in Chisinau, Vienna Contemporary, ICR London, ICR Venice, Ruse National Art Gallery, Cultural Center of Mogoşoaia, Cantacuzino Castle, Ploiești Art Museum, Constanța Art Museum, National Literature Museum, Cotroceni National Museum and Bucharest National Museum of Art, as well as in various art galleries worldwide.
